Yes. Melani Resort & Spa welcomes guests of all ages and offers a variety of family-friendly amenities and activities designed for couples, families, and groups traveling together.
Families can enjoy attractions such as the Aloha Lazy River, Ko Olina Cove Beach, Banyan Club arcade and bowling, botanical gardens, pickleball courts, fireworks performances, and resort-wide seasonal events.
Our PG Tower Suites are designed to accommodate families and groups, with occupancy for up to four guests. Children and teen avatars are welcome in these accommodations when accompanied by at least one adult guest.
Please note that our Adults-Only Villas are reserved exclusively for adult guests and do not permit child avatars.
For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, child avatars must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while visiting Melani Resort & Spa. Parents and guardians are responsible for the conduct and supervision of minors throughout their stay.

Melani Resort & Spa is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and relaxing environment for all guests. We ask that visitors conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the atmosphere of an upscale luxury resort.
Guests are expected to treat fellow visitors and staff with courtesy and respect at all times. Harassment, disruptive behavior, excessive profanity, griefing, trolling, or any conduct that negatively impacts the experience of others is not permitted.
Appropriate resort attire is required in all public areas. Swimwear is welcome at pools, beaches, and water attractions, while casual resort wear is encouraged throughout the property. Guests must remain appropriately covered in public spaces, and excessively revealing, explicit, or sexually themed attire is not permitted in public areas of the resort.
As a PG-rated resort, adult content, nudity, and sexual roleplay are prohibited throughout all public spaces, attractions, amenities, and accommodations open to minors. The only exceptions are within a guest’s private Adults-Only Villa or within designated Adults-Only Pool areas, where consenting adults may engage in mature roleplay in accordance with Second Life policies and local resort rules.
Melani Resort & Spa reserves the right to remove any guest whose appearance, behavior, or conduct is deemed disruptive, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the resort’s standards.
Our goal is simple: to create a beautiful island retreat where guests can relax, unwind, and enjoy the spirit of aloha while respecting the comfort and enjoyment of others.
Melani Resort & Spa is designed exclusively for human avatars. While guests may customize their appearance in a variety of creative ways, avatars portraying non-human species or supernatural beings—including, but not limited to, animals, furries, ferals, demons, angels, vampires, werewolves, dragons, and mythological creatures—are not permitted as guests of the resort.
To ensure all guests can comfortably access accommodations, pathways, attractions, and facilities, guests must also be 2.3 meters (7 feet 5 inches) tall or less. Avatars exceeding this height may experience difficulty accessing certain areas of the resort and are therefore not eligible for accommodation reservations.
Additionally, all guests visiting Melani Resort & Spa must have valid payment information on file with Second Life to access the resort.

Absolutely! Melani Resort & Spa proudly offers complimentary airport shuttle service from nearby Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL).
Thanks to our state-of-the-art island transportation system, shuttle wait times are remarkably short—typically less than a second from the time you request pickup. Many guests are surprised by just how efficient our service is!

Standard check-in at Melani Resort & Spa begins at 3:00 PM SLT, and check-out is at 11:00 AM SLT on your departure day.
Guests may request an early check-in or late check-out of up to two hours, subject to availability. Early arrivals are available as early as 1:00 PM SLT, while late departures may be extended until 1:00 PM SLT.
Early check-in and late check-out requests are charged at L$100 per guest, per hour and must be arranged in advance with Melani Staff.
Following check-out, guests will lose access to their accommodations and any guest-exclusive amenities. However, we warmly invite departing guests to continue enjoying the resort’s public areas, including beaches, gardens, outdoor bars, the gaming patio, and other publicly accessible facilities for as long as they wish.
If you anticipate arriving early or departing later than your scheduled times, please let us know when booking or contact a staff member before your stay so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Reservations may be cancelled for a full refund within 24 hours of payment, provided your scheduled check-in time is at least 48 hours away.
After the 24-hour refund window has passed, all reservations become final and non-refundable. Melani Resort & Spa is unable to provide refunds for no-shows, scheduling conflicts, changes in personal availability, or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent a guest from visiting during their reservation period.
Guests who need to modify their reservation should contact Melani Staff as soon as possible. Reservation adjustments may be accommodated based on availability; however, no changes can be made within 48 hours of the scheduled check-in time.
We encourage guests to carefully review their travel plans before confirming a reservation to ensure the best possible experience.
