By entering, visiting, or reserving accommodations within Melani Resort & Spa, you agree to comply with this Covenant, all Resort Rules, Reservation Policies, and reasonable staff instructions.

Melani is not intended to function as a combat, crime, gang, law enforcement, or conflict-based roleplay environment.
Guests are expected to contribute positively to the atmosphere and enjoyment of the resort.
To preserve the intended environment of the resort, guests must comply with the following avatar standards:

All guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and courteously.

Adult Area Requirements:
Guests who violate Adult Area restrictions may be removed from the resort immediately.
Guest privacy is an important part of the Melani experience.
Guests may not:
Only guests listed on a reservation may enter or occupy that accommodation during the reservation period.
Respect for guest privacy is mandatory.
All guests visiting or staying at Melani Resort & Spa must have payment information on file with Linden Lab.
Guests who do not meet this requirement may be denied access to the resort, accommodations, experiences, or services.
Melani is designed with Second Life’s PBR standard in mind. Visiting the resort requires that all guests are utilizing the latest updated viewer that supports PBR as many parts may be missing or blank without it.
No exceptions will be granted and no refunds will be issued if the reservation is outside the cancelation window.
Child avatars are welcome within designated family-friendly areas of the resort.
All child avatars must be accompanied by an Adult Avatar while visiting Melani Resort & Spa.

All accommodations require a minimum occupancy of two registered guests.
All reservations must include at least one Adult Avatar.
Only guests listed on the reservation may occupy the accommodation.
Each accommodation includes an allowance of up to 20 Land Impact (LI) for guest personal items during the reservation. Guests are responsible for ensuring all rezzed items remain within this limit. Certain items may be restricted at staff discretion if they create performance, operational, or policy concerns.
Mesh babies (including Zooby Babies and similar systems) are permitted only when attached to a guest’s avatar. Rezzing mesh babies as standalone objects within an accommodation is not permitted, as doing so may exceed the accommodation’s Land Impact allowance.

Standard Reservations
A Standard Reservation is a reservation with a scheduled check-in time more than 48 hours after the reservation payment is made.
Guests are strongly encouraged to utilize the standard booking process whenever possible.
Standard Reservations provide Melani Staff with adequate time to review, verify, and process reservation requests.
Immediate Reservations
An Immediate Reservation is a reservation with a scheduled check-in time less than 48 hours after the reservation payment is made.
Immediate Reservations require additional staff coordination and may not always be available.
Guests wishing to make an Immediate Reservation should first visit the Main Lobby and use the Gold Service Bell.

Submission of an Immediate Reservation request does not guarantee that staff will be available to process the request prior to the desired check-in time.
Melani Resort & Spa is not responsible for delays, lost reservation time, or inability to accommodate Immediate Reservations when staff are unavailable.
Reservation modifications are subject to availability and staff approval.
Modification requests must be submitted no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled check-in time.
Within 48 hours of check-in, reservation modifications, date changes, occupancy changes, accommodation transfers, and rescheduling requests are not permitted.
Exceptions may be granted solely at the discretion of Melani Resort & Spa.

Once the applicable Cancellation Window has expired, all payments are final and non-refundable.
Approved refunds may require 3–5 business days to process.
Guests who fail to arrive for their reservation, arrive late, depart early, or otherwise choose not to utilize their reservation are not eligible for refunds, credits, extensions, or rebooking.
Unused reservation time is forfeited.
Refund eligibility is governed exclusively by the applicable Cancellation Window and Reservation Policies.
Melani Resort & Spa offers Day Passes and Annual Passes that provide access to designated resort amenities and public areas.
Pass holders are subject to all Resort Rules, Reservation Policies, Covenant provisions, guest requirements, and staff instructions.
PASS ACCESS
Pass holders may enjoy access to designated public resort amenities, facilities, activities, and experiences available to pass holders during the validity period of the pass.
Specific amenities, services, and benefits may change from time to time at the discretion of Melani Resort & Spa.
ACCOMMODATIONS NOT INCLUDED
Day Passes and Annual Passes do not include accommodations.
Pass holders do not receive access to:
Accommodations require a separate reservation and payment.
ADULTS ONLY POOL ACCESS
Access to the Adults Only Pool is not automatically included with the purchase of a Day Pass or Annual Pass.
Guests must complete a one-time Adult Verification with a Melani Staff Member before access can be granted.
Guests wishing to utilize the Adults Only Pool are encouraged to obtain verification prior to purchasing a pass whenever possible.
Melani Resort & Spa is not responsible for lost access time resulting from a guest’s failure to obtain required verification prior to purchase.
Time will not be extended, credited, refunded, or otherwise adjusted if a staff member is unavailable to complete Adult Verification after a pass has been purchased.
PASS VALIDITY
Pass validity periods cannot be paused, extended, transferred, or restarted.
PASS RESTRICTIONS
Passes are:
Misuse of a pass, attempts to share access, circumvention of resort systems, or violations of resort policies may result in revocation of pass privileges without refund.
RESORT ACCESS
Melani Resort & Spa reserves the right to restrict, modify, suspend, or revoke pass privileges when necessary for maintenance, private events, operational needs, policy enforcement, guest safety, or resort operations.
No refunds, credits, or extensions will be provided for temporary closures, maintenance periods, private events, staffing limitations, operational adjustments, or policy enforcement actions.
Melani Staff are authorized to enforce resort rules, policies, guest requirements, reservation requirements, and accommodation restrictions.
Guests are expected to comply with all reasonable staff instructions.
Failure to comply with staff instructions may result in enforcement action.
Guests are responsible for familiarizing themselves with all resort rules, policies, guest requirements, and staff instructions prior to their visit or stay.
A lack of familiarity with resort policies does not exempt a guest from compliance or enforcement action.

By entering, visiting, reserving accommodations, participating in resort activities, or otherwise utilizing the facilities of Melani Resort & Spa, Discord, or Resort Groups you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to comply with this Covenant, all Resort Rules, Reservation Policies, and reasonable staff instructions.
At Melani Resort & Spa, all guests and visitors are expected to familiarize themselves with and comply with the resort’s rules, covenants, and policies. Statements such as “I didn’t know” do not exempt a guest from responsibility for violations that occur during their visit or stay.
Melani Resort & Spa reserves the right to remove guests who violate resort rules, disrupt the experience of others, or fail to comply with staff instructions. Violations may result in the following:
