Melani’s Night-time Fireworks Spectacular

As the sun sets over Ko Olina Cove, the shoreline of Melani transforms into a breathtaking celebration of light, music, and island magic. Celebration is Melani Resort & Spa’s signature nighttime spectacular, combining synchronized fireworks, immersive music, and dazzling visual effects into an unforgettable experience for guests of all ages.

 

Gather along the beaches of Melani Cove, find your favorite viewing spot, and share in an evening that celebrates the beauty of paradise, the spirit of aloha, and the unforgettable moments that bring us together.

When is Celebration presented?

Celebration is currently under active development and is not part of our regular entertainment schedule. During this testing phase, the show is presented only on select special test performance nights.

 

Performance dates and times are announced exclusively through the Melani Guests group. Guests staying at the resort or those with Annual Memberships will receive notifications about upcoming presentations.

Celebration is presented over the waters of Melani Cove, with fireworks and show elements extending across the beachfront and surrounding shoreline.

Everyone is welcome! Celebration is complimentary for all resort guests and visitors.

For the most immersive experience, we recommend viewing from one of the following locations:

  • Melani Cove Beach — Our recommended viewing location with the closest and most immersive experience.
  • Beach Deck (located on the beach below the Family Pool Deck) — Excellent unobstructed views directly along the shoreline.
  • Family Pool Deck — Offers a slightly elevated perspective of the show while maintaining excellent visibility.
  • Main Lobby Patio Balcony — A relaxing alternative with beautiful views, though some fireworks launched farther along the cove may be less noticeable from this location.

To experience Celebration as it was designed, we recommend the following minimum viewer settings:

  • Shared Environment: Enabled
  • Draw Distance: At least 128 meters (256 meters or greater is recommended when viewing from the Main Lobby Patio.)
  • Sounds Volume: At least 50%

 

Unlike many Second Life presentations, portions of the show’s soundtrack are delivered through the Sounds channel rather than the Music stream. This is to help with synchronized timing of the show.

 

If you can hear the ambient waves, crickets, and the pre-show announcements around the resort, your sound settings are correctly configured for the presentation.

 

Please refer to the image below to verify your Sounds volume is set appropriately before the show begins.

As Celebration continues through development, individual scenes, music, effects, and timing may change between performances as we refine the guest experience.
